Arnewood has raised over £1,200 for three different children’s charities.

Students and staff have once again demonstrated their generosity as they took part in this year’s Children in Need on Friday 17th November, raising a total of £1,260.

Money was raised with a non-uniform day for a small donation and cake sales during break time, kindly provided by our lovely finance ladies Miss King and Mrs Quibell and tutor group 08PFR. A ‘guess the number of sweets in the jar’ game was also organised by tutor group 09EDR.

Mrs Woodacre also hosted a ‘Find Pudsey’ game in the library, where students had to find the hidden Pudsey’s to win a prize.

The money raised will be split between Children in Need, Simon Says Child Bereavement Charity and Julia’s House.

Well done to everyone who took part, an amazing effort by all!
