What is the Block2Block Project?

The Block2Block: New Milton in Minecraft project is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and is run in partnership with Hampshire Cultural Trust and Forest Arts Centre.

The project has seen 15 Arnewood school students, eager to discover more about the past of New Milton and find creative ways of making hisory even more exciting, create a new online museum using Minecraft.

They have taken part in multiple trips to study the history of New Milton, built the Minecraft work using ordnance survey maps and created three short films. They even had a special visit to Microsoft!

The Block2Block: New Milton in Minecraft website will be launched at the Celebration Day at Forest Arts Centre from 2-5pm on Saturday 14th July 2018 with an exhibition, live music, film screenings and a special performance by EPIC theatre group.
