A Guide to Learning at Home – Hampshire County Council Virtual School have written a 12 page guide with tips on planning and delivery. 

National Online Safety have excellent tips for eSafety. 

Hampshire County Council’s educational psychologists have written some useful notes on mental well being and how to explain the virus to children. 

Resources for Home Education

The following resources will assist parents who want to supplement the content we are setting at school on Firefly. 

As you have probably seen, BBC Education’s new education service – BBC Bitesize Daily – launched on Monday 20th April 2020.  There are 150 online lessons for Years 1-10 in English, Maths and other core subjects on the BBC Bitesize website. And there are also new Bitesize Daily programmes broadcast on BBC iPlayer and via the BBC Red Button.   There is a handy guide available which includes the advance schedules and explains exactly what is on offer and where to find it.
