Entry Requirements

Our general entry requirements are:

• Five GCSE’s at grade 5 and above.
• Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Modern Foreign Languages and Computing you will require a grade 6 or above to study the subjects
• Further Mathematics you will require a grade 7 and above to study this subject.

Please note that we will only recognise qualifications which are included in the DFE performance tables for secondary schools.

Every student who applies to the Sixth Form will be personally interviewed to discuss their plans and potential subject mix. Every interview will be with a senior member of the Arnewood teaching staff team.

As well as meeting the academic requirements, we are looking for students who show ambition, are likely to embrace the special culture of our Sixth Form and have the inclination to give as well as receive.
