Year 7 students had the exciting opportunity to take part in an end of term Activity Day at Dorset Adventure Park on Wednesday the 13th of July.
The Dorset Adventure Park is situated at the historic Corfe Castle and is surrounded by breath-taking views of the Purbeck countryside. The park features 18 acres of woodland with two fully lifeguarded lakes, a total wipe-out style aqua park and a mud trail assault course. with over 50 challenging obstacles.
Students first faced the wildly amusing mud trail assault course with hilarious consequences. Showers were then required before wetsuits and buoyancy aids were donned in order to tackle the fantastically, fun aqua park. On top of all that excitement students also enjoyed a picnic packed lunch.
As well as being an enjoyable and entertaining experience for all, the activities were physically challenging and required teamwork helping students to develop important social and life-skills.
