Year 9 options
Choosing the right GCSEs is one of the most important decisions your child will make - and at Arnewood, we make sure no one navigates it alone. Throughout KS3, we provide ongoing advice and guidance so that students arrive at the options process feeling informed and confident.
When the time comes to make choices, every student has a conversation with their Head of Year - someone who knows them well, understands their strengths, and genuinely wants to get it right for them. We take the time to look at the full picture: academic progress, personal interests, future aspirations and what will help each individual thrive.
Families are a vital part of that process. Your knowledge of your child - who they are, what motivates them, where they want to go - matters enormously. We'll keep you informed and involved every step of the way, so that the choices made are ones your child feels proud to own.
