Canteen info & cashless catering
Good food is part of a good school day. Our canteen is run by Aspens Services, a specialist school caterer, and offers something for everyone - from freshly prepared hot meals to grab-and-go options. Payment is cashless, so students don't need to carry money.
Our main lunch offer is Streateries - Aspens' popular secondary school brand. Every day has a theme, drawing on global cuisines from Asian to Caribbean to classic British favourites, alongside street food dishes, handheld options, and vegetarian and vegan choices. The menu rotates on a three-week cycle and refreshes each season, so there's always something new to try.
How our cashless catering system works
Parents can top up their child's account online, view their balance and see what's been purchased. Login details are provided when your child joins us. A daily spend limit of £6 is set as standard - to adjust this, please contact the Finance Office on 01425 625427
If your child has a food allergy, intolerance or dietary requirement - whether for health, religious, or ethical reasons - please let us know as soon as possible. Aspens caters for a wide range of needs and takes allergen safety seriously. Please contact the school office and we'll make sure the right arrangements are in place.
If your child is eligible for Free School Meals (FSM), their account is credited automatically each day. The system is completely discreet - there's nothing to distinguish FSM students at the till.
