At Arnewood, we are genuinely ambitious for every student's future - not just their results, but their readiness for the world beyond school. Our careers programme is one of our greatest strengths, and we're proud of it. From Year 7 through to Sixth Form, we give students the knowledge, experiences and confidence to make informed choices and take their next steps with purpose.
What we offer
Our Careers Department coordinates a rich and varied programme tailored specifically for each year group, including curriculum-linked careers lessons, guest speakers and employer visits, practice interviews with real employers, a Careers Fair, apprenticeship and training provider talks, visits to further and higher education providers, and work experience.
Students also have access to Unifrog - a leading careers platform that helps them explore pathways, compare opportunities and build their own careers profile.
Our framework
Our provision is built around the eight Gatsby Benchmarks and evaluated using the Compass+ tool. We review it annually, inviting feedback from students, parents and employers to make sure it keeps improving.
