EPQ Coordinator – (Fixed Term)
The post 16 Extended Project Qualification helps students develop and demonstrate their project management skills and provides opportunities for extended writing, both of which are highly valued for progression to higher education and employment. Students can tailor their project to fit their individual needs, choices and aspirations with the agreement of the EPQ Coordinator. The outcome of the project can be a design, performance, report, dissertation or artefact. Students are allocated two hours per week for taught content and tutorials.
The successful applicant will be an excellent teacher/lecturer, preferably with post 16 experience, with an ability to coordinate guidance for students working on a diverse range of individual projects.
This post will be for one year in the first instance but is likely to be extended if significant numbers of students opt for the course and high-quality grades and outcomes, including student retention, are achieved.
