TEACHER OF ART, MPS maternity cover required for Easter 2021.  The person appointed will have the opportunity to join a high performing Expressive Arts team and teach all ability levels throughout the 11-19 age range.  The ability to offer fine art painting and drawing expertise would be preferred to complement the skills already found within our strong team.

The school offers a full range of arts qualifications.  Students/staff enjoy numerous extra-curricular experiences and the successful applicant will be expected to contribute to this aspect of school life.

The school makes wide use of new technology for eLearning. The successful applicant will be a skilled ICT user, able to take full advantage of the school’s e-Learning programme for staff, students and families.  Student’s benefit from high quality accommodation and resources including a new Arts Hub building completed March 2021.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and ambitious Chemistry teacher to join our science team in January 2021, teaching science and physics to GCSE and Chemistry to A2.  You will be joining a well-qualified, friendly and very supportive team.

Chemistry is a popular and successful subject in the school, with a 100% pass rate at A2 from 2009 to 2020. In 2020 approximately 60% of students achieved grade A* – B.  The successful candidate will have the opportunity to attend Chemistry CPD workshops run locally, regionally and nationally, allowing them to continue to develop their own physics understanding and to further advance their teaching.
